This course introduces Non-Newtonian behaviour, yield stress and thixotropy to describe materials response as function of shear and time. Also incorporates the use of Oscillation and Creep to measure viscoelastic properties over a range of timescales.
The course includes good measurement practice techniques to teach users how to make successful measurements and interpret data. Malvern/Bohlin Rheomers are used as part of the course and aim to give its participants the knowledge to identify, set-up and run appropriate rhological tests relevant to their samples and applications.
This training is carried out at Malvern HQ and numbers are limited. Places are therefore allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
